Every time I leave my house I’m confronted with this elaborate and lamentable graffito:

I have to say that this isn’t a piece of advice that I follow. Whoever daubed this clearly hasn’t been paying attention to Jonny Opinion and his famous* gnomic utterance:
If you believe in yourself, you can’t do anything.
Anyway, a formal welcome to winter, the season of self-disbelief.
