Yorkshire Water

So far this trip, here’s what I’ve found lurking in Yorkshire’s waters:

Enormous carp and rudd in my dad’s self-built pond. I really admire the way he applied his skills as a plumber to build this wonderful pond, complete with intricate filtering system.

A nine-year-old goldfish, persisting, and Brian’s pleco.

A strange aquatic mammal spotted in the Leeds-Liverpool Canal…

… and again in Calverley Woods. I do wonder about the original purpose of this old, semi-ruined man-made pool, right in the middle of the woods.)

And here he is on dry land, with his friend the monkey.
