In praise of folly

A year or so ago, I alleged that using the internet is quite the same as angling. This allegation was part of a wider discussion about the fluidity of the virtual realm. I was pleased to hear from Kieran Mitton, yesterday morning, that the ocean was the first world wide web. In that it’s a source of information, that is. Later the same day I came across this witty little composition:


The sea air, irresistibly, suggests folly:


But life here can also be difficult:
