Listen!

July 16, 2007

The first book I ever read was mostly a picture book, with one word on each page. That word was “Look!”, printed in large type at the foot of some image or other, showing all kinds of goings-on thought by the author to be worth particular scrutiny. It wasn’t very much like this, but it ought to have been:

Am I to understand that you listen to glazed pastries?

If you, my dear Ross, we need to have a chat. Your senses concern me.

Also, the yellow glove–it looks like the gloves we use to clean our flat (when we clean it), yet it appears to have holes for only a thumb and three fingers. That’s either a brilliant camera angle or an unusual glove (which is to say it’s not our usual glove).
