It’s More Fun To Compute

The oldest known recording of a piece of computer music can be heard here. The piece, a fairly dreadful rendition of God Save The King, followed by a much more acceptable Baa Baa Black Sheep and a cheeky fragment In The Mood, was played in 1951 by the Manchester University’s Ferranti Mark 1 computer.
